Andrew P. Prague earned a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley College, a J.D. from New England School of Law, and an LLM in Taxation from Boston University. Upon graduation, Andrew P. Prague joined the tax department of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) in Boston. Thereafter, Andrew founded Prague & Company in the mid 1980’s. He has extensive experience in all areas of individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of accounting and tax compliance. Andrew also leads the firm’s estate planning group and is principal of the law firm Prague & Prague Law LLP. Andrew is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.

Jeffrey D. Rosen earned both a B.S. in Accountancy and an M.S. in Taxation from Bentley College.  Prior to joining Prague & Company in 2000, Jeff worked in private industry for American International Group (AIG).  Jeff leads Prague & Company’s Timber taxation practice and is instrumental in the operation of the Private Equity & Limited Partnership Administration group.  Jeff has extensive experience in the area of non-cash compensation, including ISOs, NSOs, and other forms, as well as all areas of individual taxation.  Additionally, Jeff has experience in all areas of partnership taxation, including partner allocation methodologies and multi-state filings, as well as with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).  Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, Jeff is a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Vincent J. Macchia earned both a B.S. in Accountancy and M.S. in Taxation from Bentley College.  Prior to joining Prague & Company in 2005, Vin worked as a Partnership Tax Supervisor in the Alternative Investments Administration group at Investors Bank & Trust Company (now State Street Bank).  Before that, Vin worked in the audit and tax departments for a Boston area CPA firm.  Vin is instrumental in the operation of the Private Equity & Limited Partnership Administration group.  Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, Vin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Danielle A. Prague earned a B.S. in Accounting, Finance and International Business as well as Master of Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2010. Prior to joining Prague & Company in 2013, Danielle worked at Ernst & Young LLP in New York City. She focused on international planning for multinational corporations, which included serving a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical client during its divestiture of two non-core businesses. Upon her return to Boston, Danielle attended Suffolk University Law School. She earned a J.D. and LLM in Taxation in May 2018. At Prague & Company, Danielle works closely with the firm’s private equity clients to prepare partnership and Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) tax filings and supporting documentation. In addition, she provides tax planning and compliance services to the firm’s clients. Danielle is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and New York. Danielle is admitted to the Massachusetts bar.

Jason M. Prague earned a B.S. in Political Science from Syracuse University in May 2008 and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School of Law in May of 2016.  Since joining Prague & Company in January 2009, Jason has gained experience in the preparation of individual and corporate income tax returns.  Jason also advises emerging companies and individuals on accounting and tax matters.  In addition, Jason works closely with Prague & Company’s private equity and limited partnership clients in various tax and bookkeeping engagements.  Jason also works with firm’s estate planning group, the law firm Prague & Prague Law LLP.  Jason is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.

Christina N. De Cormier earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Boston University, graduating summa cum laude in May 2013. Prior to graduating from college, Christina interned with Prague & Company, where she began to develop skills in the preparation of individual tax returns. Since joining the firm full-time, Christina continues to be involved with tax compliance services while conducting thorough and comprehensive client audits. She is responsible auditing the accounting books of investments and entities owned and/or operated by Prague & Company’s private equity and limited partnership clients. Christina is a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.

James R. Bergeron earned a B.S. in Accountancy from Bryant University.  Prior to working with Prague & Company in 2008, James worked in both public and private industry in a variety of accounting and tax roles.  James has experience with the preparation of financial statements, audit support, bookkeeping, and tax planning and compliance.  Additionally, James has worked with various start-up companies in order to assist them with implementing accounting and bookkeeping controls and procedures.  At Prague & Company, James assists individual, small business, and private equity clients with the maintenance of current books and records, individual and partnership tax planning and the preparation of federal and state tax returns.

Peter D. Markowski earned a B.A. in Mathematics, with honors, as well as a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University, graduating magna cum laude in May 2011. After graduating, Peter worked in the admissions office of a New England prep school. Since joining Prague & Company in January 2014, Peter has gained experience in the preparation of individual income tax returns and other bookkeeping matters. Peter also works closely with the firm’s private equity clients.
