Andrew P. Prague, CPA, JD, LLM [E-Mail]

After receiving a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley College, a JD from New England School of Law, and an LLM in Taxation from Boston University, Andrew P. Prague worked as a tax supervisor in the Boston office of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers).  Andrew founded Prague & Company in the mid 1980's and in addition to having extensive experience in all areas of individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of accounting and tax preparation, Andrew leads the firm's estate planning and probate group.  Andrew has also served as an expert witness as part of many forensic accounting engagements.  Andrew is admitted as a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.  Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both Massachusetts and Connecticut, Andrew is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Andrew is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.

Jeffrey D. Rosen, CPA, MST [E-Mail]

Jeff Rosen received both a B.S. in Accountancy and an M.S. in Taxation from Bentley College.  Prior to joining Prague & Company in 2000, Jeff worked in private industry for American International Group (AIG).  Jeff leads Prague & Company's Timber taxation practice and is instrumental in the operation of the Private Equity & Limited Partnership Administration group.  Jeff has extensive experience in the area of non-cash compensation, including ISOs, NSOs, and other forms, as well as all areas of individual taxation.  Additionally, Jeff has experience in all areas of partnership taxation, including partner allocation methodologies and multi-state filings, as well as with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).  Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, Jeff is a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Brett Treacy [E-Mail]

Brett Treacy received a B.S. in Finance from Oakland University.  Prior to joining Prague & Company in 2007, Brett worked as a Branch Level Assistant Controller for a multinational food and beverage company.  Currently, Brett is an integral part of the day-to-day operations of many of Prague & Company's private equity clients, performing multiple levels of financial analysis, overseeing bookkeeping operations, and various other accounting-related tasks.  Brett is currently pursuing his M.S. in Taxation at Northeastern University.

Jason M. Prague [E-Mail]

Jason graduated from Syracuse University in May of 2008 and has been with Prague & Company since January of 2009. Jason has experience in the preparation of individual and corporate income tax returns and works closely with Prague & Company's private equity and limited partnership groups in various bookkeeping engagements.

Eric Kaul [E-Mail]

Eric Kaul received a B.S. in Accountancy from Fairfield University and is a candidate for the M.S. in taxation at Northeastern University in Boston. Prior to joining Prague & Company in September of 2009, Eric most recently worked as a Supervisor in the tax department for a Boston area CPA firm focusing on individual, partnership and corporation tax. Prior to this experience, Eric was a Senior Tax Associate in the National Tax Department of Ernst & Young in Boston. Prior to that, Eric was a Senior Associate with Deloitte Tax LLP in Connecticut. Eric has experience both managing the tax life cycle for corporate clients as it pertains to Federal, State, and International taxation. His special expertise lies in Federal and State tax controversy. Eric is currently working towards licensure as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Steve Javaruski [E-Mail]

Steve Javaruski received a B.S. in Economics from Tufts University and an M.S. in Resource Economics from University College London.  Steve worked in the Hedge Fund Services division of JPMorgan as an analyst for four years prior to joining Prague & Company in 2010.  Steve also previously worked at Investors Bank and Trust as a fund accountant before joining JPMorgan.  Steve has experience working on a wide range of entities, including hedge funds, mutual funds, funds-of-funds, and private equity.  Currently, Steve works closely with Prague & Company's Private Equity and Limited Partnership Administration clients.
